Press Release

L.A Enterprise in Glanvillia Portsmouth, established only a year ago, has been serving the north of the island and surrounding communities – offering a variety of services, including, wholesale and retail products, local produce, cell phone & electricity top-up, lottery tickets and Ice. This Christmas the Management & Staff of LA Enterprise is partnering with New Age Adult Center, a facility that houses 10 individuals (7 women, 3 men). New Age Adult Center was established in 2014 by Janillia and Lawrence Royer – two individuals with a passion for caring for senior citizens. The facility is run by five employees, at a small fee to the families of the residents which covers their basic needs and medication.

The establishment has faced several challenges in recent months, following the passage of Hurricane Maria, since most of their funding and donations came from friends and family members overseas, as well as Ross university medical students.

Today, December 21 2017, L.A Enterprise made a donation of white & wheat flour, crix, rice, powdered milk, beans, cleaning supplies and other grocery items to the New Age Adult Center.
