New and existing customers of Courts Dominica Limited now have the opportunity to apply for a loan from the company.

The Courts Ready Cash Loan facility was relaunched on Wednesday July 13, 2016 during a short ceremony at the main office in Roseau, where Credit Manager Jennifer Raymond said this relaunch is a timely one as it responds to consumers concern about financing.

“As the name suggests, it allows for easy access to funds when one does not have cash on hand to provide for their immediate needs.”

Courts Dominica, she said, recognizes the need to remain relevant and must continuously and proactively cater to their customers’ changing needs, taste and preferences.

“Therefore, it is imperative that we reinvent ourselves to the needs and surpass our customers’ expectations and incite their trust and loyalty. Our tag line ‘Bringing Value Home’ epitomizes our dedication and commitment to doing just that and to provide top performing products and excellent customer care to consumers.”

The Ready Cash Loan facility is available at any Courts branch on the island; and the company has ensured that there is a hassle free and simple application process to allow many Dominicans to have easy access to cash.

New Ready Cash Loan customers are eligible to get up to two thousand seven hundred dollars ($2, 700) payable over a twenty- four-month period. They will need to provide a valid ID which could be a passport, Social Security Card or driver’s license and most recent pay slip.

New self-employed loan customers will need to bring in proof of employment, their most recent utility bill and two references.

Existing customers can get up to six thousand seven hundred and fifty dollars ($6, 750) also repayable over a twenty-four-month period.

The loans are also insured, Raymond said, ensuring that in the event of an untimely death of a loan holder, the balance will be paid off.

“This new and exciting initiative is another product that adds value and allows Courts Dominica to be part of an economy that works for all Dominicans and which makes Courts Dominica a company of choice for all our consumers,” Raymond stated.

Senior Manager Connie Matthew said, “At Courts, we are always looking at innovative and exciting ways to assist our customers however possible hence the reintroduction of our Ready Cash.”
